Nikola Tesla was born an ethnic Serb in a village in Smiljan, Lika, Austrian Empire (now Croatia) on July 10, 1856.

Nikola Tesla is a copycat, physicist, mechanical technician, and electric technician of Serbia-America. He is famous thanks to his contribution in designing the electrical system of alternating current (AC).
